Today, I am excited to announce that the beta version of the next Turn Off the Lights Chrome extension is now available on the Chrome Web Store for testing!

This new version is built with a refreshed foundation and includes many improvements behind the scenes to make the extension faster, more reliable, and better prepared for future features. While the core experience of dimming the web around your videos remains the same, this beta is an important step toward the next generation of Turn Off the Lights.
The extension is still under active development, and your feedback plays a vital role in shaping the final release. Whether you discover a bug, notice something that feels different, or have an idea for a new feature, I would love to hear from you.
The beta version is available for everyone using Google Chrome, whether you are on Windows, macOS, Linux, Chromebook, or even Aluminium OS (Googlebooks). Simply install it from the Chrome Web Store and start using it. Try your favorite video websites, explore the settings, and see how it performs in your regular workflow.
No piece of feedback is too small. Sometimes it is the little details that make the biggest difference. If you notice a visual issue, an unexpected behavior, a missing feature, or even something that could be made more intuitive, please let me know. Every comment helps improve the extension for everyone.
