They provided an option to get a Salesforce in a dark Mode with his a Lightning Extension for Chrome. But that Chrome extension is not available anymore for daily users. However, there is a free solution that works on all websites and not just Salesforce. With the Turn Off the Lights Browser extension, you can enable the Night Mode feature in the Options page. That will convert each website (and also get SalesForce Dark Mode enabled) to your own personal dark theme. You choose the favorite dark color you want to see.

Activate Salesforce Dark Mode with the free browser extension

  1. Download the Turn Off the Lights browser extension
  2. Click right on the gray lamp button and select Options in the menu item
  3. The Turn Off the Lights Options page shows up and select the tab Night Mode
  4. And enable here the Night switch or the long-press feature to activate the night mode on the current web page

In addition, you can customize the website background, text, and hyperlink colors. So you can make it personal to your night theme style. And as an option there is a way to enable the automatic timer that activates the Night Mode on your chosen time of the day (or night).
